XML

i-Lab has been involved with XML almost from the beginning. We have experience in each of the myriad of related standards, and in their implementations, both commerical and open-source.

  • DTD and Schema design
  • XPath path referencing language
  • XSL transformations
    • between XML formats
    • to HTML
    • to XSL-FO documents
  • FOP transformations to PDF, Postscript, etc...
  • SAX and DOM APIs for XML parsing
  • XHTML web mark-up (transitional, frameset & strict)
  • WSDL definitions of web-services

We have experience using XML for various purposes, for configuration, data storage, content management, or as a data stream. We have particlular experience accessing and manipulating XML from Java using Apache parsers and processors.
